7 am alarm

"...thunder of a hundred rusted hoppers meeting their maker..."

what one thing was it that
pulled the trigger
you asked

I only knew
what I knew --
med misfires
babes in bedlam
a clanging ghost train
big splintered spoons
stirring and stirring
arsenic stew

pure pain
an instant of
divine silence
thunder of a hundred
rusted hoppers meeting
their maker
rise of krakens
kiss the girls and
make them cry

at the ground zero
7am alarm
I was a disheveled
Peter Falk

I told you I didn't know
about any trigger
