Dime Store Rube

"...Poorly practicing compassion..."

I gave a dollar to a drug addict
Standing on the corner

I got a lecture from a dopey lady
Prancing on some principle

She said no donation
Without confirmation

I gave her a dirty look
And let loose dirty words

Tired of dime store disciples
Poorly practicing compassion

These fools often confuse
The right thing with the right result.
