Identity Theft
Someone hacked into my body parts.
What I do now is at the behest of a stranger.
I can't be held responsible for the actions
of my hands around your throat,
the knife I wield that's on direct course for your stomach.
First it was bank accounts they broke into,
passwords that they stole.
Now, they're channeling my thoughts,
overlaying them with theirs.
Everything I do is by their say-so.
When I'm finally caught,
my lawyers will have to come up
with a new line of defense.
How about cyber-coercion.
Or neuron-manipulation.
Back in the day,
you only had to prove
you were insane.
These days,
you have to convince judge and jury
that some hacker in Russia is.
