Fall Salmon Run

"...Bound by high banks..."

Fall Salmon Run

The river winds placid
with wide curves
and rippled skin

Decorated with
a fishing flotilla
of odds and ends

Bound by high banks
tree trunks and green
foliage fading to brown

Salted with rip rap and
peppered with hopeful anglers
and Mecca bound Salmon

A perfect autumn day
