None of Us Are Safe

"...Until we own up to our own culpability we're left exposed..."

None of us are safe

Until we take away the guns none of us are safe
Ya I said it and I'll say it again take away the guns
Or this carnage will never stop

It's become the new normal and it's not right
Desensitized from the bullying and alt. facts
A Pres. priding himself on his blissful ignorance

Our government sucks the teats of the NRA
As chants of no collusion bleat like blind sheep
A joyless nation crams down another Big Mac

Until we own up to our own culpability we're left exposed
Wounds cannot heal as long as we ignore our broken soldiers
Green blood and red money combine to create a yellow streak
