Romeo and Juliet (After Kids)

"...the way you vacuum the carpet in acute angles..."

Romeo and Juliet (After Kids)

The lipstick smears on the collar
do not mean I think
any less
of you.

Just because I am a paperboy
who works long hours
in the city,
doesn't mean you should
get suspicious.

You're still a great cook
and the way you vacuum the carpet in acute angles
four times a week
is quite
endearing.

I just think we should see
other people
when you're not
looking.
