Forward Ever Sideward No Please!

"...like a crayfish running forward and backward...

Forward Ever Sideward No Please!

rude rodent droppings piled up in the kitchen
a sign of an invasion, an odorous infestation

there was a puddle of mucky urine in one bowl
food packs fell victim to ungracious gnawed holes

like a crayfish running forward and backward with
much amazing facility and gusto the caretaker lied

without as much as a tinge of conscience or a wink
before admitting that indeed rodents were a menace!

the unimpressed house owner didn't mince his words
"you behave worse than a rat or even a crawling crab!"
