Your Hologram Card

"...diffracted, now we're laser-interacted..."

Your Hologram Card

I'm with you as a hologram,
a photographic light field,
an encoded valentine,
with enough visible depth cues
for you to imprint with a kiss.

I'm sorry I can't be with you in person.
but here's an object beam, a reference ray,
to flirt with your imagination.
It's as iridescent as love,
with just the kind of wavelengths
to mimic yours and mine.

We were attracted to each other,
then diffracted, now we're laser-interacted.
But nothing's changed.
It's just the words keep getting longer.
