Guilt Trip

"...as happiness and sorrow wrestle it out..."

Guilt Trip

I woke up
me again
with the same
false flag on fire
burning within
a revolution going
on between my eyes
as happiness and sorrow
wrestle it out
until one says "uncle"
to put an end
to the choke hold
and you would never
guess that all this
was going on
if you were to
casually chat with me
at the gym
would never know
I see constant visions
of a police line up
and that I often
point at myself
and say
"that's him"
