Don't Regret You

"...use those memories wisely..."

Don't Regret You

the problem, isn't remembering her name,
or waking up with piles of coke,
young girls and empty bottles
staggered everywhere.

the problem, isn't the cold jail house bench
next to the shiny crapper
or the fuck head cops laughing at you
through a tiny window.

the problem, isn't that you remember
the things you did. It's that you don't
use those memories wisely
and smile when you try and sleep.

Sounds like those are pretty wild memories.. the smile is the key word. No regrets is the best motto for what's done is done.
