He Who Has Brought No Stone

"...Dead things are to be noble In their fleeting decay..."

He Who Has Brought No Stone

He who has brought no stone
Shall not be remembered
As a harmonious throne.
Dead things are to be noble
In their fleeting decay,
As a child; hopeful.

For just one striking word
Of younger affection,
As a song, to a bird.
He who has brought no stone
Would be lasting always,
Instead; resting alone.
