Darkness

There is darkness all
Around us. In the
Homes, at marketplaces,
At shops and offices.

People are afraid to speak,
Their heart in fear of
Dark repercussion and they
Choose to stay silent and accept.

Dark decisions by the government
Parade as steadfast national
Interest. Dark attitude of man
Towards man is justified in
The name of nationalism.

As a result Man bleeds,
Man suffers, Man cries
And is suffocated, a suffocation
Deadlier than the death.
