Contingence

"...at times words bruise us..."

Contingence

Curiosities hurl their extensities in my
direction. I do what needs to be done.
Like when fresh cake is gristly it calls
for an appointment with a dentist.

Unworded sentences sometimes burn,
at times words bruise us. Patrons of
parlance acquire hidden blades to form
connections for others to bleed.
