Love is a Verse

"...You come from a place where moon swifts to mirth..."

Love is a verse

(My love is as a fever, longing still -- Shakespeare)

Tonight is all verses, changing smile to laughter
look at your charming face all day and after,
washed by the river, dawn is never theirs
I read it in your eyes, those tiny drops of tears.
While we live, we live under rich blue skies
in hearts at peace, flowers to love in paradise
night is vibrant, you leave a silver light.
a small note, a shining poem, under the night.

You come from a place where moon swifts to mirth
The stars call my name, sit alone on the earth.
If I take sad steps, you will not be in my side.
draw your lines on the paths of evening joyride.
A quick stir of wonder, breathing dust concealed,
I sketch your words, leaves and flowers on the field.
