Hope

"...If you don't hold a grudge..."

Hope

The pain isn't a pain
If you don't fold it neatly
Into the creases of life.

Anger isn't anger
If you don't hold a grudge
And put on a smile.

Despair is not loss
Not an erasure of memories
If hope dances in your open palm.
