Dear Kid

"...I never claimed this would be easy..."

Dear Kid

Never become like me, never become a slave to anything but your true vision.
Never allow fear to burden your path.
And never allow another to burden your existence.

Live and be happy as much as you possibly can.
Breathe life into everything but your pages.

Books will never love you back.

Words are what I leave behind in vague hope to be remembered by a total stranger.

Be loved and live, unlike me.

Dear Kid, please understand I want everything for you I could never grasp within my existence.

I never claimed this would be easy.
Dear Kid, I am so sorry this must be goodbye.

Pages and you, are all I leave behind.
