Adieu to My Balcony

"...The sunlight dancing on the leaves of the banyan tree..."

Adieu to My Balcony

The last cup of tea in my balcony.
The sunlight dancing on the leaves of the banyan tree.
The reddish green hue on the leaves
making the dance all the more beautiful.
The branches of the fig tree swaying.
The palm leaves fluttering and the cool breeze blowing.
A lone crow cawing near me.
Can it feel my sadness in leaving my balcony?
Two eagles gliding low together.
The tennis court with the climbers and creepers around.
A group of parrots screeching with happiness profound.
The electric pole, the skyscrapers will all remain.
The green leaves will dance in the wind.
The marble of the balcony and the sliding door will feel forlorn.
Since I will no longer be with them and they will be all alone.
