"...whenever emotions conquered the wall of reason..."

Vista

We built an extension
whenever emotions conquered
the wall of reason.
Our roof had to snitch.
The understructure lacked a spectrum.

The taste of another's tongue
or the agility of their eyeballs
aren't qualifications
for a long-term hearthside
to contain imminent cyclones.

Lavishness in loam replenishes
the toxins of togetherness.
Ventilation is a necessity.
The lustre of uplifting thought
upholds the conformation.
