The Pig Less Travelled

And if you find that you've come to a place
seeking enlightenment, change or merely asylum,

maybe even the minimal requisite velocity
necessary to break the gravitational bonds of

your own life and you find yourself one morning,
6 or 7am, drinking coffee and staring off at some

arbitrary point on the horizon, and suddenly a man
in a truck drives up, a man who has the mildly deranged

look of a man all too familiar with the revolving door of
incarceration and he asks you if you'd like to help him

ketch a pig up on Highway D, and even though you're
only wearing boxers and a t-shirt and you haven't even

had more than a couple of sips of coffee and no time
to think at all, you say ... yes, of course I would.
