Bread and Butter Notes

"...Every note a treasure, like clouds passing by..."

Bread and Butter Notes

Bread and Butter notes always come suddenly.
But on time and timely.
You might know the sender, the usual suspects.
They are a writer's writer, our saving grace.
Every note a treasure, like clouds passing by.
Mood and décor are pleased.
SPOILER ALERT!!
The click and hit send crowd has moved on.
Dear Guardians of the Secret.
Thank you for your service.

Ah, yes, this poet captures those breaths of clean air between the troll assaults of the world. Instead, opening a page of paper, a moment of respite, "Every note a treasure, like clouds passing by." The "saving grace" in our worlds, indeed. Laufer captures this momentary magic with his magical words.
