Rising with the Moon

"...distant like the love I am over with..."

Rising with the Moon

Rising with the moon,
over all the nonsense
of day, the sky shines
like diamonds. Its stars

and flying machines
are distant like the love
I am over with. I get
lost in the dark sky.

I prefer night when
water fills my eyes.
The scent of flowers,
of grass, in the garden,

it reminds me of you.
The war for love is
over. My sweet flower
I drink in your honor.

The moon towers over
me and the stars die.
I am with you even
though I am not with you.
There is sand in my eye.
Seas have spurted out.
