Letters Remembered

"...A wave comes and Washes away your Memories..."

Letters Remembered

The sinking sun
With its fading rays
Sends a message to
The sea, bathed in
The color of dusk

The letters pile up
In the heart, their
Alphabets disappearing;
Blank page stares at
You, as you try hard
To remember a face
Lost between the
Rays of the setting sun
And the sea ...

A wave comes and
Washes away your
Memories and the
Alphabets return, but
You decline to read

The letters lie in
The vault, the valve
Of your heart tightly
Shut and you breathe --

In-out-in-out ...

When did the sun set?
