Quiet White Dog Short Poem

"...as white as the moon..."

Quiet White Dog Short Poem

A tottering nocturnal poppy,
its tail is a plume that moves between tombstones --
as white as them,
as white as the moon,
and as noiseless as either,
the night's silent, snowy, swaying bloom --
quiet white dog in a mountain graveyard.
