A Tomorrow Poem Today

Never been to a bar at 8 AM,
sipping a beer for breakfast,
while silence predicts the future,
so instead I write this poem,
trying to forget a fortune teller's
crystal ball is empty,
yet I'll claim to see the next Hitler
petting his dog or a new Napoleon
eating leftover chicken,
only for someone to roll their eyes --
just another who refuses to believe
in my words.
