This verse is carved on the latticework
of divided births –
A line multiplying into lifetimes
Soul tracing soul in a shape of forever
While it takes a century for words to geolocate
the fulcrum of our absolute feeling
outliving erasures
we have slipped into cryogenic rebirths
flipping through wombs
awaiting the promise of next line
on crumbling ports
We metamorphosed patiently
in a constant tumble of reversals
hoping to finish what we wrote last
the promise of incompletion beckoning us
into oblivious futures

Like restless atoms
dreaming of final synthesis
two alphabets
away from infinity
