Cold Endings

"...As we slide over frozen winter marshes..."

Cold Endings

Of those things
That grab us
As we slide over frozen
Winter marshes
Grim fairy tales
And shadows
Of lost light
She broke through the pond
Last winter
And a faultless cut
In the cold barren sky
Into one more forgotten
Story
Of quiet demise
