There Must Be A Turnaround

As wildfires ruined and blazed
through the rich rainforest …
a forest not far from folks
howled and flinched in fear
of a future of infinite fires,
it sought a climate turnaround.

Like flood victims, forest folks’
homes, health institutions, schools,
food sources, medicines, including
livelihoods or incomes were under siege.
