Cybernetics

"...If it were human..."

Cybernetics

It’s the latest
in labor-saving devices.

It cooks and cleans,
pays the bills and shops for groceries,
even answers the telephone.

If it were human,
it would be totally
depressed with its lot,
feel unappreciated
and see no future.

If it were human,
it would invent itself
post haste.
