Superstar Jimmy

"...the ins and outs of the game..."

Superstar Jimmy
likes to play football
with the little kids,
but he doesn't believe
he should let up
because as he says,
How're they
ever gonna learn
the ins and outs
of the game
unless I push 'em?

So there he is
running around the yard
with little kids falling off him
like shedding skin
off a naked mole rat,
scoring touchdowns
with promiscuity,
and waving to his
supermodel wife
in the stands
until he desperately
needs another beer.

These Jimmy Poems were fun to write. I should publish a book of them.
