Stay Out of the Shadows

"...They always find you when you are too flawed..."

Stay Out Of The Shadows

She wanted to know the man beyond the page till she realized he was still just a man all the same.
A flawed fractured mess.

He wasn't the thing to fill the void.
Just another person to make more of a mess.
But his words were everything he wasn't.

They were beauty within chaos a darkness that didn't paint it for anything it wasn't.
He was a addict and never pretended to be in love with anything more than his vices.

He once loved someone too.
It nearly did him in and most believe he was nothing more than a walking statue of a past that he could not reclaim.

She found him at his worst.
They always find you when you are too flawed to be anything useful to anyone else.

He saw her as a dream.
He wished to eternally sleep.
But knew he would never know.

He chased death.
She sought something other than the one she was trapped beside.

In the depths of the shadows you will find many demons and those whom are far too consumed with their own to give a fuck about yours.

It's best to avoid the shadows if you can.
But moths are drawn to a flame as I am sweetheart am drawn to you.

What a mess this life has become.
