Red Cardinal

for the past two days
i've seen this cardinal
red with april wings
red like august heat
red as the cliffs of moab
and i am not sure
if it's the
same cardinal
or a different one
i am not privy to what
its intentions are
why it keeps appearing
but I enjoy the company
it is a nice way to end my day from work
and
begin
my
night
at
home.
