The height of hyperinflation happened in mid-November 2008

A 150 percent hike in fuel prices sparked a humanitarian crisis
And an outrage as poor citizens rioted amid a brutal crackdown
Marked by an internet shutdown, killings and torture and arrests
For thanks to November 2017 an old cold guff bore new garbs
The country has the world's most expensive petrol! Unamusing!
