"...They danced their despairs away..."

On a Melodic and Restful Note

They tucked into a feast of music
The speaker was aged but titanic
It roared and rolled thru the night
Its lurid might stole the limelight
They danced their despairs away
Forgetting all in the tiny hallway
The lyrics were honey and potent
Till sleepiness became dominant
