"...the state of the world was a commotion..."

A State of Upheavals

he kissed pharmaceutical disgraces
and entrepreneurship races
good riddance

somebody had to explore the parameters
of people's cognitive landscapes
mental health was taking a test

he departed for his ancestral village to farm
and seek psychological equilibrium
the city was laden with stress

fraught with bills, hassles, and bustles
the state of the world was a commotion
he sought to find refuge in his village
