Tomorrow When You Meet

Tomorrow when you meet,
bring with you
the fragrance of a body
that is yours, only yours.
The scent of jasmine
does not give me a pure feeling of you.

Tomorrow when you meet,
let your hair rest freely,
tangled here, scattered there.
My fingers can't enter, can't navigate
amongst delicately tied hair.

Tomorrow when you meet,
let the color of water be on your eyes.
Makeup does not suit
your soft lashes.

Tomorrow when you meet,
let your lips be dry,
uncolored, un-artificial.
Lipstick sensibilities
do not feel natural.

Tomorrow when you meet,
let your dusky face,
half-smiling, invite, allure.
Artificial luster
looks so alien.

Tomorrow when you meet,
let there be loitering
in the evening.
Cocktails and dances
do not move my heart.

Tomorrow when you meet,
come as you met for the first time.
Dressed like a fairy, dear,
you don't look a festivity.
