Mid-winter presents...

1.


rail tracks
running into evening
shadows.

2.


beneath
the retreating stars
blooming chrysanthemum

3.


mango buds
drying
in everlasting tanginess

4.


wine-dark eyes
confounding deeds
end of summer

5.


momentary pause
day breaks into
morning raga
