Artistic Aspirations

Pogo the clown took to painting
on death row --
eventually his works became collectibles,
and while Hitler was a failed artist,
his paintings still auction
for thousands of dollars today,
so when my hands struggle
to stay within the lines
of a paint by numbers portrait,
I'm okay with that.
