Dreaming Stars

By Pranab Ghosh

Dreaming Stars

Night whispered the
Travails of life

Sleep and dream
Turned side

The stars had gone
Into a hiding with
The usurpers trying
To run amok.

Then there was the
Calming touch of
Life; a mission renewed.

Night saluted the
Future cradled
In certain, uncertainties.

But hope promised to
Triumph, giving all
Uncertainties a go-by.

The moon has come out
Of the veil of the clouds
And the stars have
Begun to dream!
