Longing!

Like a breath that has been
Forced to halt midway

Like the morning sunrays
That have been banished
From the earth

Like the waves of the ocean
That have been asked to stay
Away from the shores

Like the poets, who have been
Asked to hate the moon
And the stars

I pine
My soul cries

Longing
Love
And
Desire
I burn inwardly
Without my essence
Of being by my side!
