Tight Boots?

"...they declare all manner of irresponsible comments..."

Tight Boots?

Faces composed with stiff upper lips,
and eyes that carry a stoic’s grace.
Cherished isolation feeds their hearts.
Temerity as bold as thunder slams forth through rashness,
and from frequent sensibilities, sans finer feelings
they declare all manner of irresponsible comments.
At times, they stand compliant,
more times than most, headed in the direction
away from the locus of love.
Folks who may want to check the size of their shoes.
That pinching can wreak havoc on one’s outlook.
