Love Effects

Passionate verse.

Of all the mannerisms that I despise ...

I like you least of all

You bend my heart,

addle my mind,

and I cannot grasp you...

To force you to stop.

You are love incarnate ...

beauty which will not abide by me,

You are light ...

even at your most dire

I am dark,

Soil at my greatest.

Do not draw upwind of me

Your sweetness is maddening

And grant me one wish

Blind not my eyes again with tears ...

for I cry I CRY

everytime your beauty reminds me of my nature.
