Jake Rinloan is a native Californian who has lived much of his life in the state of Washington, with stints in Finland and Canada. He is a University of Washington graduate who is passionate about writing, reading, and outdoor recreation. Most recently, Jake worked as a project director for the California chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
Paul Stansbury is the author of the five volume Inversion short story collection, Down By the Creek – Ripples and Reflections, and Under the Faerie Moon, an illustrated poetry book. His speculative fiction stories have appeared in a number of print anthologies as well as a variety of online publications.
These poems explore the mystical landscape of the Kashmir Valley, from the "Vakhs" of Lal Ded to the folklore of the Walnut Jinn, the collection seeks to preserve the cultural "texture" of high-altitude traditions.
