While his own undead skeletal servant looks on, young necromancer Hazzanghoul hands soon-to-be shadow knight Ashlinne's ravaged teddy bear back to her, saying he will not reanimate the toy. The would-be shadow knight begs, using big, blue, pleading eyes. The young necromancer's red eyes look harsh, then relent. He agrees to help the shadow knight in training reanimate her teddy bear, but only if she performs the actual spell. Ashlinne is thrilled, providing she doesn't get cooties.
