Necromancer Hazzanghoul and would-be shadow knight Ashlinne hide behind some shrubs while a monster dozes. Is Ashlinne ready to try real combat and follow in the steps of her father, General Lichloved, who protected the Emperor himself on the battlefield? If she had some armor, she would be.

Hah. If I had realized how fun the Emperor and General Lichloved were to draw as a team, this strip would have been about them instead. Here are the pencils for panel two, if you're interested.
